Spring/Summer 2026

As we transition from the cold winter months into the warmth and renewal of spring, many of us look forward to longer days, blooming flowers, and time spent outdoors with family and friends. Spring is often seen as a season of hope and new beginnings. Yet for many in our community, the challenges of daily life do not disappear with the change in weather.

For our neighbors experiencing homelessness, the warmer months bring a different set of hardships. Rising temperatures can make finding safe places to rest more difficult, access to water and shade becomes critical, and the constant uncertainty of where the next meal will come from remains. While many people associate hardship with winter’s cold, summer heat can be just as dangerous for those living without stable shelter.

At the Guild of St. Margaret, we are seeing an increasing number of neighbors turning to us for support—seeking not only nourishing meals, but also comfort, dignity, and a reminder that they are not alone.

This year holds special meaning for us as we celebrate 45 years of serving our community. For more than four decades, we have stood alongside our neighbors during their most difficult moments, offering food, compassion, and hope. This legacy has only been possible because of the generosity of supporters like you and the dedication of our volunteers whose time, energy, and kindness bring our mission to life every day.

Your support provides far more than a meal. It restores dignity, offers encouragement, and reminds those who are struggling that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

As we enter this season of renewal, we invite you to reflect on the impact your past generosity has made and consider making a meaningful spring gift today.

Thank you for being such an essential part of our mission. Your compassion—and the dedication of our volunteers and donors—continues to make a life-changing difference for neighbors in need.

With heartfelt appreciation,
The Guild of St. Margaret Advisory Board
